Rock Band 2 to Include Chinese Democracy Song Upon Release [UPDATE]
“Chinese Democracy” may be the long awaited album from Guns N’ Roses, but the album title has also become synonymous with a term used to describe something that is promised, but never brought to fruition.
“Kate said that her and Michael will get married sometime this year”
“That is a Chinese Democracy if I ever heard one”
However, long suffering GNR fans may not have much loner to wait according to The New York Times. Supposedly, when Rock Band 2 comes out later this year, the track “Shackler’s Revenge” off the long expected album will be included in the sequel, should the deal with Axl Rose go through.
The NYT alludes that with the song being included in RB2, “Chinese Democracy” will come out this fall, after being in the works for over a decade. Supposedly the album is finished, but a release date has yet to be announced. The good news, is that if the album does indeed come out this year, everyone will get a free can of Dr. Pepper.
I for one am not getting my hopes up until the actual deal with temperamental Axl Rose goes through. He has disappointed me in the past too many times (canceled three concerts I had tickets to) and I refuse to open my heart to him once more without a pre-nump.

[UPDATE] Looks like the deal went through after all. Way to go Axel, way to go.
