He just could not scrape together the entire purchase price......I offered to front him the additional money he needed for a month or so. He had been returning older X-Box games to our local Game Stop in order to increase the amount of the deposit he had laid down to pre-order Rock Band. I just wanted to see what all the hype was about. He used his immense GH skills to quickly unlock about 30 songs......I had been content to play what we both call "fake drums". (Bang on the drum kit without connecting it to the XBox) Then he unlocked Detroit Rock City. I asked if I could take a swing at being Paul Stanley. What happened next can only be described as the single greatest rock and roll experience of my life. Thank you Harmonix. This new "game" of yours is going to change the world.
