Rockstar Claims Remedy Consulted on Max Payne 3

Rockstar’s Jeronimo Barrera says that even though development duties on Max Payne 3 were taken away from series creators Remedy, they weren’t completely left out of the loop. Or so he says. This is what GameSpot printed.

Staying true to each core element of Max was always a major focus, and that’s actually something that we discussed with Remedy during development, and they’ve been extremely supportive of our work.

Ahem. I assume by “extremely supportive” you mean “extremely annoyed.” OK, maybe I shouldn’t assume the folks at Remedy are that guy. The rest of GameSpot’s interview with Barrera is interesting, so be sure to read it.
