RUMOR – Mass Effect Coming to Wii U (CONFIRMED)

UPDATE: Nintendo confirmed that ME3 is headed to Wii U, although it was just with a short video clip in a montage of third party titles. No details as yet.

Over on the German Mass Effect Facebook page, there’s a post advising fans to “keep a close eye” on Nintendo’s E3 press conference (which starts in a few minutes). This, combined with the fact that EA CEO Jon Riccitiello has already confirmed that EA will support Nintendo’s new console, has given rise to speculation that we’ll see Mass Effect for Wii U at today’s press conference.

Nintendo hits the stage at 12PM EST (9AM PST), so keep an ear to the ground if you’re a Mass Effect fan. Of course, you could just keep an eye on our E3 channel for all the latest news.

So they’re willing to make a WiiU version of this game, but getting them to even acknowledge that people were upset about the ending was like pulling teeth.

Only way I’m picking this up is if they actually fix the ending.

I can see it now. You get to strangle the Space Child with the WII U’s controls, unlocking a new ending.
