Rumor: Ubisoft Could Announce New Splinter Cell at E3 2012

Ubisoft’s Jade Raymond has confirmed that the developer’s Toronto studio is working on another entry into the Splinter Cell series, and now new rumors suggest it will be called “Black List,” and we might see it at E3 2012 this year.

It’s hard to say just how trustworthy the information is. It comes via IGN but tracking down the source of the rumor is a little tougher. Meanwhile, the NeoGAF forums suggests the game will be a direct sequel to Splinter Cell: Conviction, with Sam Fisher hunting down his enemies, which are on the titular list.

We’ll have a ton of boots on the ground at E3 2012 next week, so stay tuned for more!
