Ruthless or Heroic? Choose in Infamous: Second Son

Power drunk punk or Boy Scout adept at delivering non-lethal justice? Players will be able to shape their character to fit either role in Infamous: Second Son, and Sony is showing off what the results look like in-game.

With a post on the official PlayStation Blog, Sony shared the work of two community members tasked with playing Infamous: Second Son in Heroic and Ruthless styles. See the results for yourself below:

Looks like fun. I tend to be a good guy when I’m playing games with black and white choices, but I’ve got to admit, the destruction of the Ruthless play style makes me want to go on a rampage in Second Son.

Either way, the PlayStation 4 will finally get a much-needed big next gen game today with Infamous: Second Son.

Infamous is a fun series, but the actual mechanics and implementation of the good/bad system is even more pointless than Mass Effect 2 and 3′s overly handholding and obvious paragon/renegade choices. Instead of having these pointless decisions, you should just get to choose at the start of the game whether you want to take the light path or the dark path.
