It looks like THQ has finally announced exactly when the sequel to Saints Row should be released. The game is now slated to drop for the Xbox 360 and PS3 on August 26 of this year. There’s also a new website for the game up, which is predictably decked out in copious amounts of bling. I guess that’s probably the best time for the game to be released: far enough from the GTA IV release so most people will have finished that game and not too close to competing with the AAA Christmas titles. The first Saints Row was probably the best Grand Theft Auto knock off around, so I’m sure the sequel will have it’s fair share of fun.

Yeah, I’m not really interested in this honestly. I may buy it a year down the road or something, but I know I’ll be on GTAIV for a long time to come.

I already beat GTA 4 and it the best 1 i ever played but i think Saints Row 2 is gonna be way better than the 1st 1 and all the GTA’s
