Saints Row 4 Game of the Generation Edition Announced

Forget “Game of the Year” editions, for Saints Row 4 is proclaiming itself to be the Game of the Generation in a newly announced edition for the game. It contains everything from the Super Dangerous Wub Wub edition—namely a Johnny Gat memorial statue, replica dubstep gun and dubstep doomsday button—as well as a protective cover, a light up case and an individually numbered plaque.

This numbered edition of the game will only be produced up to 5,000 times and each unit will be individually numbered, and costs $129.99.

The announcement of the Saints Row 4 Game of the Generation Edition was accompanied by the release of a bio of the game’s primary antagonist, Emperor Zinyak. It reads as follows:

His Majesty Emperor Zinyak is the ultimate ruler of the Zin Empire, a civilization of extraterrestrial beings bent upon world domination. After arriving at Earth on a routine conquest mission, Zinyak took it upon himself to select the best and brightest of the human race and graciously bring them under the watchful care of the Zin, initiating the humans to their superior ways via simulations of their pitiful world.

In his free time, Emperor Zinyak enjoys sipping brandy next to a warm fire, reading classic works of fiction by Jane Austen and catching up on the delightful BBC series, Downton Abbey.

Saints Row 4 is set to be released on August 23rd for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

All I can think of now is:

Why make a game of quality when you got “swag”.

hey if they want to, go for it.
I do love how elaborate it is, for no practical reason.
I would preorder, but i live in Australia, so I’ll have to buy it from overseas, probably england.
