Satellite Reign Crowd-Funding Nears End, Two New Videos Released

5 Lives Studios has released two new videos of their crowd-funded spiritual successor to Syndicate Wars, Satellite Reign. The first video showcases the game’s technology and features a visual walkthrough of the effects, lighting, and more used in-game.

Published as a part of the game’s latest update on Kickstarter, the video is narrated by Brent Waller, the game’s Environmental Artist. Watch the video for a good idea of how level reflections affect Satellite Reign’s overall environment.

The second video is a mock-up visualization of the UI and augmentation interface.

In addition to the release of the videos, the posted update also notes that the funding for the game’s fourth stretch goal have been met. With only 11 hours left on the clock, environmental destruction has been confirmed.

The game’s fifth stretch goal sits at $755,000 and will bring on Russell Zimmerman to write for Satellite Reign to help flesh out the game’s world and story, and add two new factions with their associated districts.
