Screens From Crytek’s Cancelled Redemption Are Pretty

You may not have heard of Crytek’s cancelled game Redemption. It was an effort by former Art director Eric Cochonneau, who was with the company from 2005-2009 (after which he was with Electronic Arts Tiburon until May, 2012). We’ll probably never know what the game would have been, though just-leaked screenshots indicate a beautiful, eerily realistic world rich in color and detail, plus weapons galore. All Games Beta have posted what appears to be a complete set of screens and concept art, hundreds in all, showing everything from environments, characters, vehicles and weapons, and it’s gorgeous.
