Section 8: Prejudice Players Need 10 Million Kills to Unlock New Game Mode

Section 8: Prejudice, which we reviewed on the 360, launched Tuesday for PC. Now that it’s live, TimeGate has announced what that mysterious “Coming Soon” option on the menu is. It’s a brand new game mode called Assault that pits an attacking team against a defending team to see who can capture all control points the quickest. It sounds cool, so when can we plan to play it?

Well, TimeGate has left that up to us, at least in part. They’ve set a goal for the section community of 10 million online kills. Once that number is reached, Assault mode will unlock. Both PC and 360 players will be working together to reach that number, and you can track their progress by checking the counter on the official Section 8: Prejudice website.

If you haven’t grabbed Section 8: Prejudice yet, I’m sure the community would welcome another soldier in the fight to reach 10 million kills. You can grab it from XBox Live Arcade, or for PC at Steam, Games for Windows Live, Impulse, or Direct2Drive.
