Seems Like THQ Might Have Ripped Off PS3 Saints Row: The Third Buyers

Publishers often make deals with one console maker or another to give one version of the game an edge over the competition by providing exclusive content. That seemed to be the case with Saints Row: The Third back at E3 2011, when SCEA CEO Jack Tretton said there’d be some kind of exclusive incentive to get the PS3 version of the game.

According to IGN, the Playstation 3 version of the game appears to be identical to the Xbox 360 version of the game. Since Sony and THQ never mentioned explicitly what the content would be, nobody knows exactly what’s missing (if anything) from the PS3 version.

We’ll have to wait and see if anybody ever mentions this again over at Sony or THQ, or if maybe the PS3-exclusive content might be on its way in the future.
