Sega Announces Ship Date for "The Club"

Everytime I hear the name of Sega’s new title, “The Club,” it always puts a 50 Cent song in my head (I’m pretty sure you can guess which one; that’s right, “Candy Shop”). Fiddy anthems aside, Sega has announced that the upcoming action game will ship to retailers in February of 2008 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. The game will have players choose from eight different mercenaries to compete in series of deathmatches all over the world for the amusement of a faceless organization. Sega has described the game as being a fusion of the action in a shooter and the speed of a racing game. While the single player game sounds intriguing, it looks like the game could also offer some great multiplayer matches.
