SEGAROCKS (Sega Tribute Band)

ser11.jpg

The guys over at Kotaku discovered a great find on YouTube with this band. SEGAROCKS is basically a cover band playing tunes from the Saturn-Era of Sega games. When I first saw the photo, I thought it was a joke of some sort, but apparently these guys are pretty serious. Check out the videos after the break. I’m not sure if this is my kind of music exactly, but I have to give them props for keeping the old days alive.

Yeah these guys have been around for a few years now and have a handful of albums out, mostly non-vocal stuff. They do a brilliant version of the opening track to Phantasy Star IV.
