PS3 owners can have a reason to rejoice, thanks to the news that a sequel for Resistance: Fall of Man is already in the works. It’s not really surprising news — given that it’s one of the biggest titles for the system — but some of the announced multiplayer features are. Apparently the game will support 60-player matches, as well as an 8-player co-op mode. It will also have “two full campaigns,” which makes me wonder if we’ll be playing from the alien side this time around. At any rate, more details will be in the forthcoming February issue of Game Informer.

I’ll definitely be trying to find that mag…normally i shy away from the stuff but just the prospect of some mouth watering screens or something might be enough.
