Skyrim Earns $650 Million

Bethesda has announced today that their biggest title this year, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, has shipped 10 million copies and sold upwards of $650 million worth of units. We don’t know how many copies sold that equates to, but frankly we don’t care, because that’s a hell of a lot of money. It’s not a billion dollars, but it’s a lot. The point is that Skyrim has been extremely successful for Bethesda this holiday season.

Other fact Bethesda claims: that Skyrim outsold all other PC games three to one during the month of November. There’s probably no way to verify that, but it’s impressive if true for what it means for PC sales of the game. Basically, it means that it sold very many copies on PC. You’d think that modding may have driven that.

So, yeah, big news. Congrats, Bethesda.

kash needs to take the arrow out of his knee and realize what he’s missing.

I think kash needs someone to kick him of his high horse and realize how much awesomeness he is missing
