Skyrim Giants Blast You Into Space — Try It Out! (VIDEO)

Due to some hilarious collision or damage glitch, Skyrim’s giants have a tendency of swatting players and NPCs into the sky. I’ve both watched it and experienced it a dozen times, and seeing flailing limbs spinning miles above those white slopes just never gets old.

If you want to see the strength of the giants yourself, you’d better do so as soon as possible, because there’s been word that this glitch will, sadly, be patched out of the game in the near future. Rather than have you marching around Skyrim in search of the titans, here’s a handy map with the location of one of the easiest-to-find giant camps, Secunda’s Kiss:

From Whiterun’s Western Watchtower, simply march South-South-West up the mountain slopes, and soon enough, you’ll be doing cartwheels in the stratosphere.

Interesting enough, I’ve seen these guys swat Mammoths into the sky as well. I came across my first giant by looking into an air-suspended mammoth, then realizing exactly /why/ it was floating in the first place shortly thereafter.

It’s a shame they’re patching this. I think of it more as a game feature than a bug.
