Like Skyrim and the Dawnguard expansion before it, Hearthfire has its own set of item codes giving PC players total access to every inventory item. While Hearthfire is designed without combat in mind, you can still making building and upgrading your home easy by summoning the construction items listed below. Using the PC console can be tricky, so make sure to read the instructions carefully and save often before attempting.

Get the rest of The Elder Scrolls V’s PC Console commands and codes with our Skyrim PC Console Commands, PC Item Codes, and the Dawnguard PC Console Item Codes.

[Update: 10/7] Work in Progress:

WARNING: Certain mods will change the load order. The load order is the first two digits of each ID Code. By default, all Hearthfire Codes have a load order of “02″ if you own no other DLC. If you have mods or other DLC installed, either remove them, or change your load order from “02″ to “03″, to “04″ or higher depending on the mods and DLC you have currently installed and how they alter Skyrim’s item database.

Note: If you need a code and it isn’t listed here, type HELP “ITEMNAME” into the console to receive an item code instantly.

Using Console Commands

Hit Tilde [`] to bring down the developer console. Then just enter the codes listed below to activate.

Some cheats can cause bugs, crashes, or problems with the game code. Make sure to save your game before you experiment with cheats. Achievements are also disabled once cheats are activated.

Don’t forget to shut off the AUTOSAVE feature if you’re worried about overwriting a previous clean save.

Player Item Console Command

Player.additem ITEM ###
Gives items depending on what Item Code is input. Type in the item name under “ITEM” and the amount of items you want under “###”.

PC Item Codes

Note: Ahead of each item code, you’ll find an “xx” you’ll need to replace with “00″, “01″, “02″, “03″ or higher depending on how many mods or DLC expansions you have installed. By default, if you have the Dawnguard DLC installed, the number to replace “XX” should be “03″. EX: Glass xx005a69 would be Glass 03005a69

If you really want a list of codes, and I found this out because these wouldn’t work for me, type in help “item name” and there you have it. Like if I want a daedric bow, I can type in

help “daedric bow”

And it would show all the Daedric Bows, and their codes. :) Just a little tip if ever you forget the item code for something or the number you found don’t work, just use this. :)

also with the IDs with the XXX what do we use for the heathfire extras? (items, NPCs and so on)

@Hinsonator,

Hey, Hinsonator! If you have Dawnguard, as well as Hearthfire, replace “XX” with “03″, but it also depends on how many mods you have running at the time. Each mod or DLC will change the load-order by 1. So, if you only have Hearthfire installed, “XX” will need to be replaced with “02″, but if you have several mods running that add items, the number might need to be “03″, “04″, “05″, and so on. It gets a bit complicated, and takes some trial and error, but hopefully that will help you figure out how to use these codes. Let us know!

so for the xx in the codes, because i have 27 mods downloaded, would it be 2700 etc. etc.? or would it be the number of the load order hearthfire is in? because mine is 6th, itd be lik 0600 etc. etc.? please give some feed back

@ jake

As a personal test, load order is the number you want to use and since mine was top of the list my XX was
01. If that helps then I’m glad I could help.

does not work

Kevin Thielenhaus

On July 29, 2013 at 4:58 pm

@cindy,

Remember, you may need to change the first two digits of each code to get them to work. The number depends on which DLC packs or mods you have installed at the time.

Try testing a single code and changing the first two digits 00 to 01-03. Try to remember which number works, and take note — those two digits are used for the rest of the Hearthfire codes.
