The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is full of bonuses, hidden around every corner. The Standing Stones make your travels through the snowy mountain tops a touch easier. Their effects are many, but some offer faster experience gain, unlocking expert level locks, or improved regeneration. You can only carry one Standing Stone blessing at a time, yet you only need to find these stones to gain their blessings. Below you’ll find instructions for finding all thirteen stones in Skyrim.

Referencing to the map given when the game was bought. This is talking about the little “x’s” on the map.

There are way more than 13 stones. I think a lot of people assume there are only 13 because of the xbox achievement for finding 13 stones. I have actually found 20 stones and I know there is another one I was too lazy to look for around the docks by solitude. So for sure, there are at least 21 stones. No joke, I also assumed that there were only 13 and then new ones would just keep popping up on my radar :) Happy Hunting!

How are you able to look at which stone is currently active on your player? Just want to know if there is a way

I encourage one of you finding more than 13 to give us a location for these extras, cause I have yet to see another past these 13

Also that one mentioned near solitude docks, would be the Apprentice one.

If you got to magic, then active effects, you can see which stone you have active.

How can you possibly say there are more than 13 stones, if in the beggining of the game it is said that there are only 13? Seriously, get your facts straight. The X on the map shows the stones, and other points of interest like dragon burial sites. That’s it.

@ CaMMaN, go to “magic” scroll down to “active effects” and it will tell you @ the very bottom what is currently active for your character, @ the guys saying theres more than 13 stones, stop lying so much.

My bad, i was wrong, there is only 13 stones… But theres a glitch that keeps track of everytime you visit or discover a stone, even if you have already visited or discovered that stone it still counts as a stone found in your general stats…
