Over 13.6 Million Skyrim Steam Workshop Downloads

According to a tweet by the official Bethesda twitter account, the Skyrim Steam Workshop has seen over 13.6 million downloads since its February 7th release. That averages out to approximately 158,000 downloads a day, which is great news for modders and mod lovers everywhere.

The tweet reads:

A couple weeks after the creation kit’s release, we compiled a list of the (then) top 10 Skyrim mods available on the Steam Workshop. If you haven’t, take a gander.

Bethesda recently unveiled its Dawnguard DLC, and though it has said little about it, Bethesda’s Todd Howard previously stated that Skyrim’s DLC will feel like expansion packs. However, Howard has also been on the record as essentially stating that mods are better than DLC, so… make of that what you will.
