Okay, seriously, they’re throwing just about everything you’d ever want in a Smash Bros. game into this new one. Today’s Smash Bros. Dojo update has revealed the Stage Builder, which will allow you to craft your own arenas. You’ll start by choosing the basics, like background image, size, and music, before arranging a variety of set pieces, including platforms, ladders, conveyor belts, and even hazards. You can then save your map and even store them on an SD card or send them to a friend. Besides that, you’ll also have the option to submit your arena to Nintendo. Each day, they’ll select one submitted stage to send out to everyone through the internet. Basically, you’ll get a new map at your disposal each day, which will unfortunately vanish once the day is over.
It’s pretty much guaranteed that this will be the best Smash Bros. game ever when it comes out. Online multiplayer, tons of new characters both Nintendo-based and not, assist trophies, an actual story, and now this? This game’s sure to keep you occupied for awhile once it comes out. Why, oh why did it have to get delayed until February?
