Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Delayed to October

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2′s release date has been pushed back to October 9th, Namco confirmed to Eurogamer.

Originally slated for an August 21st release date, the sniping sequel will now be launching on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC two and a half months later than previously expected.

After my Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 hands-on at E3, I was left satisfied with the game‘s sniping experience but wondering how linear the game will ultimately be.

I fully support developers delaying games if it means releasing a more polished product. I wouldn’t have minded waiting another couple of months for Diablo 3, for instance, so let’s hope these two extra months will give City Interactive the time it needs to ship a sleek product.
