So, Someone Made Game Of Thrones In Minecraft

Here’s a little something to make you feel very inadequate on this day. Over on Imgur, a Minecraft player calling him or herself Fortunatemend is documenting their attempt to recreate the sprawling world of George R. R. Martin’s Song of Ice and Fire universe, AKA A Game of Thrones, using Minecraft. The work is ongoing, but they’ve made significant, and extremely impressive progress. As you can see, Fortunatemend’s work is based on the HBO series’ take on Westeros, as the books contain precious little by way of visual material. I can’t wait to see how far this goes. See the entire gallery here.

This is amazing, I love it so much it makes me want to get mine-craft just to go to this guys server.

The only question I have is why if one dude can do this in mine-craft why can’t people with millions of dollars backing their projects??
