Sonic Generations Walkthrough

    Act 1

    1. Spin dash forward through the loop and drop to the next area below, then eliminate the nearby enemy and dash to your left up the ramp. Eliminate the enemies on the next ledge and pick up the boxes to the right, then bounce vertically off the yellow bumper to reach the flag pole above.
    2. Bounce to the next ledge above and move through the booster on your right to sprint across the rooftops, then spin dash through the barrels and drop into the construction swing to launch yourself vertically. Push yourself to the right and land on the next ledge, then jump across the flipping platform above to bounce vertically off the red bumper.
    3. Jump up the series of rotating platforms to reach the ledge above on the right, then bounce vertically off the yellow spring and land on the highway. Wait for the cars to pass, then spin dash forward and launch off the ramp to land on the neon sign.
    4. Move right across the ledge above and spin dash up the ramp, then jump through the red ring on the first incline and stop yourself when you land on the next one to avoid the spikes. Jump through the red ring above and bounce off the yellow spring to land on the moving platform overhead.
    5. Jump to the next moving platform across from you and step on the blue switch on your right, then drop to the ground below and enter the construction swing ahead to attach yourself to the rocket. Ride the rocket to the next area, then drop over the ledge to your right and eliminate the nearby enemies.
    6. Move up the escalators to the right and bounce off the yellow spring to reach the moving platform against the wall, then jump up the series of platforms above and take out the enemy on the uppermost ledge.
    7. Enter the booster ahead and sprint through the building until you exit onto a moving platform, then jump onto the flying enemy on your left and drop down the inclines to reach the office area.
    8. Continue forward and spin dash through the barrels to enter the construction swing. After transferring between the swings and landing in the next area, ride the moving platform forward and eliminate the flying enemy.
    9. Duck beneath the overhang and jump up on the next moving platform, then continue up the platforms while avoiding the spikes and bounce off the enemy above to reach the ledge. Move forward and jump over the spikes, then use the red spring to launch yourself up the ramp.
    10. Ring the bell to collect additional rings and jump to the moving platform on your left, then use the yellow springs to move up into an area with benches. Bounce off the series of red bumpers to launch off the ramps and hitch a ride on the helicopter.
    11. Ride the helicopter to the next area, then spin dash forward and bounce off the bumpers to reach the next platform above. Jump across the gap to your left and enter the booster, then drop to the path below and bounce vertically off the yellow spring ahead.
    12. Enter the booster to sprint through the loop and land in the construction swing, then push yourself forward in mid-air to transfer over to the next swing. Push yourself to the right in mid-air to transfer onto the next platform, then quickly jump to the ledge and ride the moving platforms upwards.
    13. Cross above the bed of spikes and onto the platforms moving downward, then jump to the highway road ahead and spin dash forward to enter the construction swing. Bounce back and forth between the bumpers to reach an area with street lights, then spin dash up the ramp ahead and into the red ring above to the right.
    14. Bounce off the bumpers to reach the platform above and continue forward, then eliminate the enemy and spin dash up the wall in front of you. When you hit the wall and land in the next area below, jump across the flipping platform to the left and enter the red ring to complete the level.

    What about the ring issue? I keep running out of rings before I can hit him, and even when I do get close enough, I don’t see my lock-on target,e ven when I’m playing as Modern Sonic.

    I get the same problem you do Ash, Time Eater, when I’m hitting him, I dodge the attacks and smash his orb. Orb gets really cracked to almost 1 more hit and dies, then I can’t even get near him and ring count is dead almost instantly.
