Sonic Generations Walkthrough

  • Act 2

    1. As you board down the hill, steer onto the ramps located near the sidewalks on either side of the street. Drift turn to the right at the bottom of the hill and make a left after that, then continue gliding down the incline and make another drift turn to the right at the bottom.
    2. Glide past the ramp and make a left drift turn ahead, then take your next right and make another right into the round-about. Move through the boosters and glide down the front of the cliff ahead, then smash through the train in front of you after landing on the street again and boost up the next ramp.
    3. Use homing strikes to reach the first ledge above, then move forward and eliminate the robotic enemies to cross over the columns. Bounce off the spring in the corner on the right to launch yourself into the park, then move forward down the road and use homing attacks on the enemies to climb the grassy circular platforms.
    4. Jump into the rainbow ring to launch yourself onto the next ledge, then use homing attacks on the two nearby enemies to cross the gap ahead. Eliminate the enemies and grind the staircase ahead, then move into the area with umbrellas and grind up the staircase to the left.
    5. Launch yourself forward onto the brick racetrack and move through the loop, then run down the side of the building and onto the next section of street. Hit the ramp to grab the lamppost and swing yourself forward to hit the red spring on the platform above.
    6. Enter the red rings to launch yourself forward and hit a wall, then move forward after dropping to the ground and boost through the loop. Launch up the ramp at the end and push forward to reach the ledge, then jump across the moving columns ahead and land on the next ledge.
    7. Move forward and jump across the yellow platforms, then using a homing attack on the enemy above to reach the next ledge. Use the block to jump up on the ledge above and use a homing attack on the balloons to your left, then use another attack on the enemy ahead to land on the next ledge.
    8. Continue left and onto the moving yellow platforms against the wall, then ride upwards and jump to grab the lamp pole to the right. Swing yourself forward to hit the wall ahead and land on the moving columns, then ride them upwards to reach the ledge above.
    9. Eliminate the enemy and drop over the edge ahead onto the blue floor, then boost forward and cross the moving columns to reach the ground below. Use a homing attack on the spring to sprint through the loop and up the staircase, then bounce vertically off the next row of bumpers to land on the ledge above.
    10. Boost up the staircase and forward down the street, then hit the boost ramp to continue your escape from the runaway truck. Continuously push yourself forward and boost and to stay ahead of the truck, then shift back and forth to evade the giant saw blades.
    11. Continue pushing yourself forward to stay ahead of the truck as you move along the street and the side of a building, then hit the next booster ramp to complete the level.
    12. Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: CITY ESCAPE Restored! (Bronze): Restore the CITY ESCAPE Stage Gate.

    What about the ring issue? I keep running out of rings before I can hit him, and even when I do get close enough, I don’t see my lock-on target,e ven when I’m playing as Modern Sonic.

    I get the same problem you do Ash, Time Eater, when I’m hitting him, I dodge the attacks and smash his orb. Orb gets really cracked to almost 1 more hit and dies, then I can’t even get near him and ring count is dead almost instantly.
