Sonic Generations Walkthrough

    Act 1

    1. Spin dash forward and jump over the pool of water, then take out the enemy and clear the bed of spikes ahead. Charge your spin and dash forward across the surface of the water, then jump up onto the next ledge and collect the boxes.
    2. Jump up the ledges and onto the crumbling platforms above, then move forward across the uppermost platforms and enter the cannon to launch yourself upward. After you land in the water, jump up the ledges ahead to breach the surface and eliminate the enemy.
    3. Drop over the edge in front of you and move forward, then eliminate the enemy ahead and wait for the next column to rise before dropping into the area below. Quickly glide downward into the rightmost corner and use the moving platforms above to breach the surface again.
    4. Jump onto the ledge above and continue forward, then jump across the gap and the bed of spikes to pass through the checkpoint. Clear the next gap and eliminate the enemy, then jump into the cannon ahead to launch yourself into the background.
    5. Move right and jump up the ledges to eliminate the enemy, then spin dash down the hill to hit a wall and wait for the spikes above to rescind. Jump up the ledges above and continue to the right, then clear the gaps and ride the columns upward to collect the extra life.
    6. Ride the columns back down and bounce off the yellow spring to the right, then land on the ledge above and drop off the edge ahead. Walk along the underwater path and use the yellow spring to bounce onto the next grassy area ahead, then jump up the moving platforms and land on the ledge above to the right.
    7. Move up the ledges ahead and onto the wide moving platform, then ride it forward to drop into the lowermost cannon in front of you. After being launched forward into the water, jump up the ledges and onto the moving platform to breach the surface again.
    8. Jump onto the ledge above and move forward, then clear the bed of spikes and bounce off the enemy to collect the box of rings. Drop over the edge ahead to land beneath a waterfall, then jump onto the ledge to the left and through the red ring across from you.
    9. After being volleyed to the next ledge, continue forward and drop off the edge ahead to fall into the water. Move forward onto the red boosters embedded in the floor to rise to the next ledge above, then bounce off the yellow spring and enter the cannon to the right.
    10. Fire yourself forward to dash through a loop and return to the underwater setting, then continue pushing yourself to the right through the snaking tunnels and grab the pole near the spikes. Shimmy upwards to clear the spikes before the pole breaks, then repeat this process to avoid the first spiked ball and between the two after that.
    11. Bounce off the next two yellow springs to launch yourself up the ramp and out of the water, then land on the ledge to your right and continue forward. Jump up the ledge and eliminate the enemy, then bounce off the yellow spring and move through the boosters above.
    12. Continue pushing yourself forward along the path to avoid being crushed by the rolling wheel and jump over any ledges you come across to maintain your speed. When you reach the taller columns, jump up and over them as quickly as possible before the wheel catches up.
    13. Enter the next booster to launch yourself up the ramp ahead and continue forward, then jump through the red rings above to reach the next road, the continue upward across the platforms above. Launch yourself through the loop by using the red rings and bounce off the bumper to complete the level.

    What about the ring issue? I keep running out of rings before I can hit him, and even when I do get close enough, I don’t see my lock-on target,e ven when I’m playing as Modern Sonic.

    I get the same problem you do Ash, Time Eater, when I’m hitting him, I dodge the attacks and smash his orb. Orb gets really cracked to almost 1 more hit and dies, then I can’t even get near him and ring count is dead almost instantly.
