Sonic Generations Walkthrough

    Act 1

    1. Spin dash to launch up the ramp ahead and push your forward onto the moving platform, then jump to the next platform when it shifts towards you. Jump to the next moving platform and hop onto the ledge ahead, then boost down the track in front of you and launch vertically off the next ramp at the end.
    2. Move quickly beneath the spider enemy to avoid being grabbed and jump up the ledges ahead, then wait until the blue liquid passes back into the tubes and continue forward.
    3. Dash into the bumper against the wall to bounce back and forth down the track, then jump over the enemy on the straightaway and continue down the next hill.
    4. When you are launched vertically up the ramp, push yourself forward onto the next ledge and bounce up the ledges ahead by eliminating the two enemies.
    5. Spin dash through the tank in your path to launch yourself forward, then land on the ledge at the top of the next vertical ramp and jump onto the moving platform to your left.
    6. Jump up onto the next moving platform to reach the ledge above, then continue across the moving platforms to collect the red star ring. Bounce vertically off the yellow bumper and red bumper to reach the two platforms above, then spin dash down the track in front of you and move through the loop.
    7. Launch off the series of bumpers in your path to enter the water slide, then bounce to the left off of the bumper at the end and move down the next track. After you splash down into the area filled with water, move right onto the blue platform to drop down the track behind you.
    8. Move down the track behind you to hit the wall and wait for the block beneath you to drop, then enter the tunnel below and spin dash forward. Launch off the ramp at the end to eliminate the spider enemy and collect the star ring, then land on the next ledge ahead and spin dash up another ramp.
    9. Push yourself forward while in mid-air to exit the water and land on the next ledge, then spin dash through the tank in front of you and bounce to the left off the bumper against the wall. Spin dash beneath the spider enemy to collect the boxes and bounce vertically off the yellow bumper to reach the next ledge above.
    10. Spin dash up the ramp in front of you to sprint across the ceiling above the bed of spikes, then spin dash again through the next series of tanks to move along the loop and complete the level.

    What about the ring issue? I keep running out of rings before I can hit him, and even when I do get close enough, I don’t see my lock-on target,e ven when I’m playing as Modern Sonic.

    I get the same problem you do Ash, Time Eater, when I’m hitting him, I dodge the attacks and smash his orb. Orb gets really cracked to almost 1 more hit and dies, then I can’t even get near him and ring count is dead almost instantly.
