Sonic Generations Walkthrough

    1. Boost forward along the track at the beginning of the level and bounce off the bumpers to clear the gap ahead, then continue along the track until you drop onto another set of bumpers below. While bouncing upwards through the air, push yourself above the next ledge and use homing attacks on the series of enemies ahead.
    2. While hugging the right railing, boost forward along the track ahead and launch off the ramp at the end. Grind the rail you land on next and boost along it to reach the next section of solid ground, then continue forward and quick step around the enemies in your path.
    3. Boost across the snaking track ahead and run along the surface of the pink water at the end, then use a homing attack to eliminate the enemy on the next ledge and drop into the next area below.
    4. Move forward when the blue liquid has receded into the pipes and drop down another level, then use homing attacks on the next three enemies and push the yellow block obstructing the path in front of you.
    5. Use the block to reach the platform above and jump up onto the next ledge when the blue liquid has receded into the pipes. Boost along the track ahead to hit the switch in front of the bumper, then bounce to the left and launch yourself up the vertical ramp.
    6. Use a homing attack on the spider enemy to land on the second platform above, then jump up to the next moving platform and pick up the star ring.
    7. Jump to the ledge on the left and hop up onto the lowermost block when it shifts towards you, then ride the block to reach the next ledge above and continue forward.
    8. Drop down over the ledge ahead and eliminate the next enemy in front of you, then boost forward along the track to launch off the bumpers and land in the water slide. Slide back and forth across the walls of the water slide to pick up the various rings until you are dropped down into a green circular shaft.
    9. Push yourself upwards against the wall of the shaft, then move back and forth to avoid the blue liquid streaming around you. Stay against the upper portion of the wall to collect the red star ring, then boost forward when you reach the ground below and slide beneath opening ahead.
    10. Continue sliding down the incline until you drop down onto another one that’s slanted to the left, then bounce off the bumper when you enter the water and push into the next block ahead.
    11. Eliminate the spider enemy and jump across the platforms to reach the two rotating blocks, then hop up onto the lowermost block when it shifts towards you and ride it to next ledge above.
    12. Execute a homing attack on the enemy above to land on the moving platform below, then drop to the ground beneath you and refill your air supply on the bubble beside the enemy to the left.
    13. Jump onto the row of blocks to your right and collect the ten rings, then ride the rising block to the ledge above and use the homing attack to clear the bed of spikes.
    14. Use the booster to launch yourself up the vertical ramp and push Sonic onto the next ledge, then boost forward across the surface of the water to hit another ramp.
    15. Land on the ledge at the top of the ramp and jump on the lowermost block ahead when it shifts towards you, then ride the blocks across the gap and continue forward.
    16. Execute a homing attack on the red bumper ahead to launch yourself vertically into the air, then quickly jump across the two lowermost platforms on the right to avoid the spiders above. Hit the next red bumper to reach the level above, then boost forward around two loops to launch yourself vertically into the air.
    17. Push yourself forward in mid-air to land on the red bumper below and bounce upwards, then land on the next ledge above and continue ahead. Boost forward off the end of the ledge to land on the large blocks in the water, then bounce upwards and execute a homing attack on the enemy below.
    18. Use a homing attack on the next enemy to make your way up the ledges ahead, then boost forward up the ceiling to land on the cluster of three platforms above. Jump across the gap to your left, then use a homing attack on the bumper ahead to bounce vertically in the air.
    19. Push yourself in mid-air onto the platform to your right and jump on the lowermost block ahead when it shifts towards you, then ride the blocks upwards and jump to the three small falling platforms on the left.
    20. Jump left a to grab the grappling hook above, then hit the next bumper to grind the rail ahead and jump through the rainbow ring at the end to launch over the wall.
    21. Boost across the ledge to bounce between the next set of bumpers on the walls ahead, then swing off the crane’s hook to land on the yellow rail below and grind forward.
    22. Continue ahead when you return to solid ground and boost up the vertical ramp at the end, then push yourself forward in mid-air to land in an area with multiple enemies and blue liquid pipes.
    23. Destroy the grey blocks in the upper left corner of the area to reveal the red bumpers, then use them to bounce upwards and land on the yellow railing above.
    24. Grind the railing and jump through the red ring at the end to launch yourself onto the next platform, then drop over the ledge ahead and boost through the three red rings to complete the level.
    25. Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: CHEMICAL PLANT Restored! (Bronze): Restore the CHEMICAL PLANT Stage Gate.

    What about the ring issue? I keep running out of rings before I can hit him, and even when I do get close enough, I don’t see my lock-on target,e ven when I’m playing as Modern Sonic.

    I get the same problem you do Ash, Time Eater, when I’m hitting him, I dodge the attacks and smash his orb. Orb gets really cracked to almost 1 more hit and dies, then I can’t even get near him and ring count is dead almost instantly.
