DESERT OIL ZONE
Act 1 – Through the Sandstorm
- Sprint forward to jump across the gap ahead and enter the booster to launch yourself straight up into the air, then move left across the ceiling you hit to continue along the track and clear the next gap above.
- Make your way down the incline and jump over the next wide gap ahead, then continue along the S-shaped section of track below and use the strong winds to clear the even wider gap that comes up next.
- Hit the enemy in front of of you with a homing attack to land on the platform above and continue forward to clear the next series of gaps ahead, then eliminate another enemy and bounce upward off the spring located below.
- Ride the strong winds over to the booster on the left side ledge and dash straight up the wall in front of you, then break open the ring box below, while moving across the ceiling, to fall down through the next narrow shaft ahead.
- Enter the booster ahead to dash across the quicksand and bounce upward off the spring at the end to reach the next ledge above, then continue forward by jumping repeatedly to avoid being consumed by unstable ground.
- Reach the next rigging platform ahead to use homing attacks on the three enemies above you, then land on the uppermost ledge and continue forward to jump over the gap in your path.
- Eliminate the enemy ahead and dash down the next two inclines below to stay ahead of the rolling spiked ball, then jump to smash through the floor below upon reaching the end of the second ramp.
- Roll down the incline in front of you and use a homing attack to take out the enemy at the bottom, then move forward down the sandhill to launch upward off the ramp ahead and bounce off the springs to land on the ledge above.
- Move across the quicksand to break open the three item boxes and reach the next rigging platform ahead, then jump forward along the ledges until you land on sand ground again in front of an inclined wall.
- Dash up the wall in front of you to move through the two loops in the track above, then continue sprinting forward up the next sandhill ahead to duck beneath the line of stilted platforms and vault over the spring at the top.
- Spin beneath the swinging crane to bounce upward off the next spring ahead and land on the moving platforms above, then jump across them to reach the next ledge and continue forward.
- Ride the moving platform in front of you to land on the ledge above and make your way down the incline ahead to reach the level below, then jump to the next ledge and climb up another incline.
- Jump across the gap at the top to land on the shipping containers ahead and make your way down the next three inclines, then continue moving forward to climb a fourth incline and bounce upward off the spring to reach the ledge above.
- Use the strong winds to reach the next spring ahead and enter the booster above to launch off the ramp to your left, then land on the ledge above to continue moving forward and into another booster.
- Launch upward off the ramp in front of you to reach the league above on the left, then bounce off the nearby spring to dash forward and activate the next checkpoint.
- Grab Tails to fly forward over the gaps and spikes in the track ahead, then ride the wind to navigate beneath a series of low-hanging pillars and land on the next ledge in front of you.
- Collect the surrounding coins before grabbing onto Tails again and flying forward above another series of obstacles, then stay within the two arrow lines painted on the wall behind you to navigate between the first three enemies.
- Ascend above the fourth enemy to collect a star ring and drop beneath the low hanging ceiling to continue moving forward, then land on the next ledge below to sprint down the track ahead and complete this act.
