Sony Announces Playstation-Branded 3D TV Bundle

Sony wants to lower the price barrier to investing in 3D, and to that end they’ve unveiled a TV bundle that includes a 24″ 3D TV, an HDMI cable, two pairs of active 3D glasses and a copy of Resistance 3. That bundle will run you $499 and, of course, will be available this fall.

On top of that, the TV will allow you to play split screen multiplayer game with each player seeing his screen take up the full TV screen. This is possible thanks to the way the TV syncs with the glasses.

Not bad, Sony. Not bad at all. Could have used a little bigger TV, though.

I purchased a 40″ Bravia Sony 3D with 2 pairs of glasses. The 24″ size TV is too small and would be better suited as a PC screen.
