Sony Offering 3 Months of PS Plus Free With a Year’s Subscription

In preparation for the November 15 launch of the PlayStation 4 in North America, Sony is bringing back a popular old promotion: buy a year of PlayStation Plus for the PlayStation Store and get 90 extra days free. This promotion starts today and will run for the next month. Remember: you will need Plus in order to play PS4 games online, but you do not need it for Twitch or Ustream or any other social feature, nor for non-game entertainment services.

Also, Plus goes quite well with the newly discounted PS Vita, as it grants a decent collection of games right away.

From what I have been able to tell, this offer is only for Europe. There isn’t any mention of it on the Playstation Store or the PS blog, which I would expect if the offer were valid in America, too.

Does this count for pre paid cards or is it only for the psn store?
