Sony Reveals Blacklight: Retribution and Primal Carnage Genesis for PS4

At an Indie Arcade event Sony held during GDC today, the company revealed a number of titles coming to the PlayStation 4, as well as the changes being made to make the PS4 a more open platform for indie developers.

The new PlayStation 4 games that Sony revealed include Zombie Studios’ Blacklight: Retribution, a previously PC-exclusive title, as well as Primal Carnage Genesis, from Lukewarm Media. The latter is an Unreal Engine 4-powered title described as an “immersive episodic single player.” The revealed teaser trailer featured a T-Rex breaking out of a laboratory vat and destroying a robot.

Bringing games to the PS4 will be easier than ever — the former 64-step submission process has been reduced to a streamlined, one-stage procedure, and developers will be able to self-publish.
