Sony Unveils SOE All-Access Subscription Model

SOE will use an all-in-one subscription model for all of its MMO titles.

Are you still playing Everquest or Everquest 2? What about DC Universe or Planetside 2? Chances are you’re still paying $15/month for any one of those titles. Well, the rumor back in January about Sony moving in this direction seems to have come true. Instead of paying a subscription for each of these titles, Sony has lumped all of their MMOs into a singular subscriber model. For $15/month or $8.34/month if you pay for a full year, you get access to the 4 current MMOs under SOEs belt along with the upcoming games Dragon’s Prophet, H1Z1 and EverQuest Next Landmark.

That deal alone is pretty nice. But to add icing to the cake, they’re giving you additional benefits to go along with the subscription. You also get additional benefits in each game, 10% off marketplace purchases made with station cash or the real stuff, 500 Station Cash reward stipend every month and extra promotions and offers as they become available.

For what they’re asking a month, that’s not a bad deal at all. If you play even one of those titles, it makes sense to go with this offer for the added benefits alone.
