Sony’s Web-Based Digital Store Quietly Launched

Sony‘s web-based version of the PlayStation Store has launched without any official word from Sony.

The Sony Entertainment Network Store, accessible here, allows users to log in and make purchases for both gaming as well as TV and movie content.

Purchases made are not set to download automatically, despite items being added to a user’s download queue. In order to download items you’ve purchased onto your PS3, you must first sign into your SEN account, select the Account Management option, go to Transaction Management, then Download List, and finally select the content you want to download.

The SEN Store accepts credit cards, pre-paid cards and PayPal.
