Sources: Stuff about Modern Warfare 3

Kotaku has the most amusingly vague anonymous source report about Modern Warfare 3, the game that hasn’t been confirmed but, duh, is coming in November, since everyone is working on it and Call of Duty is like the Assassin’s Creed of shooters in regards to its annoyingly persistent release schedule.

The report says the game will pick up where MW2 left off, and it “may” star Soap and Captain Price. It will have “epic scale” and feature “a potential World War III scenario.” That sounds like a retcon, since World War III happened in MW2.

What else do we have here. Oh yeah, MW3 will have “an urban setting.” Oh, and it will have “destructible environments” and vehicles.

I forgot what game I’m talking about here. Battlefield 3? That’s what I was talking about, right?

Whatever. The source doesn’t have anything to say about that which we are all wondering right now: How are they going to stick in there a mission about killing Osama bin Laden?
