Spec Ops: The Line Gets June 12 PC Demo Release, Steamworks DRM

2K Games just kicked out a bunch of handy information about upcoming military shooter Spec Ops: The Line, including what the hell your computer will need inside it in order to play the game, and when you can expect to start doing that. Without further adieu:

  • The demo of the PC version is launching on June 12.
  • It’ll use Steamworks to handle its DRM needs.

  • Memory: 3 GB RAM
  • Hard Drive: 10 GB free
  • Video Memory: 512+ MB
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX/ATI Radeon HD 4850
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

Other Requirements & Supports: Initial installation requires one-time internet connection for Steam authentication; software installations required (included with the game) include: STEAM Client, Microsoft Direct X, Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable, Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable

Just want to point out that the June 12th date is the DEMO’s release, the game is still scheduled for the 26th next month.
