Spec Ops: The Line – Launch Trailer

Spec Ops: The Line releases June 26, and in anticipation of the launch, a new trailer has been released for the third-person shooter. I must say, every trailer I’ve seen for this game has been really well executed. Of course, that doesn’t guarantee the game will be any good, but it does raise the expectation bar.

Check out the trailer:

Game Front’s Ben Richardson played Spec Ops: The Line at PAX and E3, who found the game’s thematic and content and ideas about storytelling interesting, but thought the gameplay was generic, clunky, and forgettable, replete with chest-high walls.

The trailer seems to corroborate Ben’s opinion of the storytelling; it would be a shame for the gameplay to turn out disappointing.

Do you think Spec Ops: The Line will be a flop?
