Splatterhouse Cheats

First released in 1988, Splatterhouse was an early example of a gaming foray into the exploitation genre, and the title featured copious gore and spooky, horror-inspired enemies. Conspicously-muscled protagonist Rick wore his Jason Voorhes-style hockey mask with aplomb, and hacked through an army of things that go bump in the night with the help of his trusty 2×4.

More than two decades later, the series has returned, sporting a snazzy, idiosyncratic graphics update and a rebooted plot. Rick and his girlfriend Jennifer are back, battling the forces of the evil Dr. West, a setup that has a satisfyingly simplistic, retro feel.
