Square-Enix put it's money on the Playstation 3, with Sony, who's relation since the Playstation 1 has been quite positive, unfortunately both companies expect the trend of dominance to continue into this generation, that was a mistake. Luckily for Square-Enix, not all eggs were placed into the Playstation basket, there are Playstation Portable games, sure, but also Nintendo DS and Wii titles in the pipeline, such as the Crystal Chronicals games and a potential pair of NES/SNES->DS updates.
