Stabtastic: Assassin’s Creed Liberation Coming to PC
While struggling to get through the history bending quagmire of Connor’s life in Assassin’s Creed 3, I would look at adverts for the seemingly more straightforward and compelling tale of female Assassin Aveline in PlayStation Vita exclusive Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation and sigh. Alas, I’m not a Vita owner, so the rooftops of New Orleans are out of reach. Check that: they were out of reach. Today Ubisoft announced an HD version of Assassin’s Creed Liberation (no longer called AC 3: Liberation) is “coming soon” to consoles and PC.
New missions, “upgraded” levels and environments, and “refined” gameplay, have all been added, and the entire thing has been cranked through Ubisoft’s Rube Goldberg-like HDification device. It will be available as a digital download, but Ubisoft isn’t ready to put a price tag or official release date on Assassin’s Creed Liberation just yet. We’ll keep you posted, but for now, check the trailer for a peek at Liberation in HD.
