Star Wars: Battlefront Files Rumored Hidden In Operation Raccoon City

Some time ago it was reported that Slant Six Games, developers of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, were working on an entry in the Star Wars: Battlefront series. That was never confirmed officially, but some intrepid gamers posting over at Beta Games – helpfully mirrored over on Neogaf – have identified what appears to be Star Wars: Battlefront files hidden in Raccoon City’s code. The files show concept art, like the image at the top of the post, for the planet Hoth, the setting for the first act of Empire Strikes Back (assuming anyone reading this lives under a rock). Here’s another image from that spread.

A revival of the Battlefront series has been rumored for years; most recently, collected evidence seemed to suggest it’s due this year from Spark Unlimited, though no official confirmation has occurred. We’ll assume it’s one with the force until we hear otherwise.

For one. How did they forget these pics were in the code lol and although I do not hate slant six I don’t want them to make the new battlefront unless they take away all the recoil that was in ORC.
