Star Wars: The Old Republic Gets Major 2.0 Update

Star Wars: The Old Republic sees the release of its big 2.0 update today, dubbed “Scum and Villainy”. The big patch adds the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion content to the game.

The so-called Hutt Cartel “emerges from the shadows” to challenge both the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire for dominance over the galaxy, unleashing an army of droids and battle stations that serve as new enemies for players to fight against.

With the new update, all players will be able to level up their characters to 55, explore the planet of Makeb, which is full of quests and things for players to do.

Players can unlock a new technology called Macrobinoculars that allows them to discover hidden objects and unlock additional story missions. Players can also unlock Seeker Droids to find hidden sites on planets across the galaxy.

The full list of changes and content can be found on the official patch notes.
