StarCraft 2 Global Play Stealth-Launched?

Reports are coming out of TeamLiquid.net, which hosts one of the largest StarCraft 2 fan forums, that the promised Global Play feature has already been partially implemented into the game.

The discovery was made following numerous complaints earlier today about players having difficulty logging in or downloading Battle.net data, after which industrious players realized it was possible to play the full version of Wings of Liberty on servers other than the one their Battle.net account is tied to — for instance, North American players could play on the European server.

While players still cannot post on a different Battle.net forums region, they can install a separate game client to play on a different server. For full installation instructions, follow this link.
