StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm Screenshots & Videos
Hell, it’s about time.
Blizzard has released a bounty of assets for the upcoming expansion to its RTS blockbuster, StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm. Here are two videos and fifteen screenshots to sate your thirst as you wait for the (projected) 2012 release.

Looks like we haven’t seen the last of Nova. At least StarCraft: Ghost has survived in one form or another.
Gameplay preview:
We just got a sneak peak at upgrades for two of the swarm’s most adorable little critters:
Splitterlings: Banelings that explode, forming two smaller banelings, that explode, forming two smaller banelings. Terrible, terrible damage.
Swarmlings: Zerglings that come in packs of three instead of two. Buy two, get one free!
These upgrades will likely only be available in the singleplayer campaign — after the most recent StarCraft 2 patches, the multiplayer game is more balanced than it has ever been, and the introduction of monumental changes like these would send a ripple throughout the competitive community.

Am I the only one not digging Kerrigan’s new look? I loved the original uninfested Sarah, and her Queen of Blades form was badass, but this half-way look just feels weird to me. (I’ll put on my riot gear for the ensuing hate that will hurled my way.)
Still, as an avid SC2 fan, I can’t wait to see where the story goes.
