StarCraft 2 North American Battle.net Invitational
Blizzard continues to support its eSports community by hosting another tournament. On August 12 and 13, eight of North America’s top StarCraft 2 players will gather to compete for their share of a $20,000+ prize pool and an invitation to represent their region in the 2011 StarCraft II Global Battle.net Invitational held at BlizzCon. The games will be cast by Day[9] and itmeJP and broadcast free of charge.

There are some big names in that list; if you’ve never watched StarCraft eSports before, now would be a great time to give it a try. Your level of skill is irrelevant — you don’t have to be a pro football player to enjoy an NFL match. Day[9] is one of the most popular and entertaining casters around, and great casting is critical to an exciting viewing experience.
