I’m at BlizzCon!
I’ll be providing coverage for the StarCraft II World Championship Series this weekend and I’m really looking forward to the Global Finals. This will be the biggest StarCraft II tournament ever, and every match this weekend promises to be really, really good.
I’m especially excited to see how Johan “NaNiwa” Lucchesi fares against Kim “Soulkey” Min Chul in today’s opening series. NaNiwa—the only non-Korean at the Global Finals—qualified for BlizzCon through a tiebreaker on Tuesday, concluding the most difficult qualifying race in StarCraft II history. As if his road wasn’t hard enough, his opponent Soulkey is not only the world’s best Zerg player, he’s also a clear favorite to take the championship this weekend.
I’ll also be handing out packs of the new, limited edition World Championship Series trading cards on the show floor! If you see me, make sure to say hi—I’d love to share some of the new trading cards with you!
