Last month, head coach Choya announced that Team fOu is disbanding.

I’m thankful for all my time training with fOu. The players, coaches and staff have been incredibly warm and welcoming, and I have learned so much from my short time here. Hurricane and Seed in particular went out of their way to help me improve, and I’m grateful to them and all of fOu for their support in these past weeks. Without them, I wouldn’t have the opportunity to train in Korea, let alone attempt to qualify for the GSL.

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about what fOu’s disbanding means for me and my future, and I’d like to take this opportunity to answer them in detail now that things are finally settling down. I will continue training in Korea. Head coach Choya is facilitating transfers for all players—myself included—to new teams and houses, and he’s allowing us to stay at the fOu house until we find new places to train. I’m currently talking to several teams about the situation, and I’m hoping to announce my new team house next week.

Earlier this week, I tried my hand at the GSL’s Code A Qualifiers. My goal is to be the best player I can be, and I don’t see that happening unless I compete with the very best. I had no expectations to qualify on my first attempt given the short time I’ve been training in Korea, and though I fell to DongRaeGu, the tournament was a valuable learning experience. With practice, I’m confident that I will qualify the next time around—and my games this week were the first step towards achieving that.

In the meantime, I’m really excited to practice for my next big tournament! I’ll be streaming practice games this weekend for the IEM Cologne Qualifier on Sunday, so make sure to tune in to my channel on Twitch! I also plan on creating a new stream schedule for January once I get settled into my new team house, so you can expect a lot more content from me in the future. Follow me on Twitter to keep updated.

I’m really looking forward to the IEM Qualifier and the chance to play in Cologne!

Here’s this week’s replay pack. Enjoy!
