Steam Has Xbox Support?

So this is funny. If you go to Steam Support, and click on the box that says  ”contact Steam Support,” one of the support categories you can choose is “Xbox support.” Yes, I just used the word “support” four times in that sentence. If you want to see this thing I’m talking about for yourself, click this link.

Anyway, I don’t know if this is a new thing or not. Maybe it isn’t. Maybe it means Steam is coming to Xbox. Maybe it doesn’t It probably doesn’t. But, hey, I’m trying to get hits here.

Totally plausible. As long as MS gets its piece of the pie (in sales).

Just don’t expect an existence of Steam on XBox Live instantly equating to cross-platform multiplayer gaming or Xbox gaming mod support. PC gamers take that stuff for granted. Expect MS’s resitrictions to be clamped down around an Xbox Steam.

So why bother? I could totally see Steam on Xbox as a middleman for pushing the concept of “you buy a PC copy, you get a console version too (no added cost)”. I mean, who wouldn’t?
