Steam Holiday Sale Extended Through Weekend

If you’ve been enjoying the Steam holiday sale, but missed out on a few of the better discounts (like half-off The Walking Dead), fear not: the sale is getting an encore.

Valve announced today that it would be extending the Steam sale for two days, beyond its original Jan. 5 ending date to Jan. 7. During the weekend, you’ll be able to snag a number of the deals that have come and gone during the last two weeks of saley goodness, which is likely to be a lot of the best sales out there. I wouldn’t be surprised if games such as XCOM: Enemy Unknown, The Walking Dead, Borderlands 2 and Dishonored — as well as other titles we’ve notched among our game of the year nominees — all found their way to being on sale again.

So if you’ve been holding back on the Steam sale or felt like you missed your chance, good news: you get another one. We’ll be keeping an eye out and flag the best deals as they come up. Let us know your favorite deals and the games you snagged in the comments.
