Steam Offering Up Daily Deals

Yesterday, Steam rolled out a brand new feature that has us both excited and scared at the same time. Every day, they’re going to offer up a new 24-hour deal. The very first one is Codemasters’ military shooter, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.

Dragon Rising is marked all the way down to $5 for the next couple of hours, when a new deal will take its place. If you’re anything like me, you’ll find yourself obsessively checking to see what the new Deal of the Day will be. There’s something strangely alluring about the words “75% Off.”

You can check out the Daily Deal on the front page of the Steam store.

Here’s a tip for you: don’t keep your rent money in the same account you use for Steam. If you do, it may be at risk.

I’ve been using Steam for quite some time, and there is a lot of good deals even before that feature.

Arkham Asylum for 8$, Portal for free, both Titan Quests for 10$ (That’s a deal).

I’m already scouting this site every single day for that rare awesome game that gets insanely cheap. For you cheapa$$ out there like me, steam store is an awesome place to lurk once a day.
